Why Practicos exists
Practicos was founded by Martin Parsons (Founder & Product Lead). Martin spent over a decade in software implementation and product management, and before that seven years running the membership and IT systems of a medical charity.
He built the first version of Practicos for his wife's private speech and language therapy practice, SLT With Alice, after watching her lose evenings and weekends to admin that the tools of the day simply weren't built to handle.
It quickly became clear the problem was far bigger than one practice. Many UK SLTs — solo practitioners and group practices alike — still run their caseloads on paper and Excel. Practicos was built to give them one place for the majority of their practice admin.
