Recording client consent

Practicos helps you capture and evidence consent in line with GDPR. When a client has no consent on record, an amber alert appears on their record.

  1. On the client record, choose to send a consent request.

  2. Practicos routes it to the right person automatically — the primary guardian for a child, or the client for an adult.

  3. If a request is still pending, you can resend it.

If consent was given in person, on paper, or by phone, record it yourself: choose to record consent, then capture the method and any notes. The client record then shows the date given, who gave it, the method, and your notes.

If consent is withdrawn or was recorded in error, you can clear it from the record. The client will show as needing consent again.
