August 2026 — reminders you can trust
This update is all fixes. The important one: if you cancelled a session, Practicos could still show it in your day as though it were going ahead — and could still email that client a reminder for it. Both are now put right.
Cancelled appointments are obvious on Today
Section titled “Cancelled appointments are obvious on Today”A cancelled session used to look exactly like a session that was still happening. On Today, cancelled appointments are now dimmed, with the time and client name struck through and a Cancelled label, so you can see at a glance that the slot is free.
Reminders are never sent for cancelled sessions
Section titled “Reminders are never sent for cancelled sessions”Using Send reminder or Send all on Today could email a client about a session that had already been cancelled. Cancelled sessions are now left out of the reminder count, and are refused if a reminder is attempted for one.
Your overnight automatic reminders were never affected — they have always skipped cancelled sessions. This only affected reminders sent by hand from Today.
Reminders sent by hand follow your clients’ settings
Section titled “Reminders sent by hand follow your clients’ settings”Sending a reminder yourself now applies the same checks as the automatic reminders, including whether a client has asked not to receive reminders and whether their record has been deleted. Previously a manual reminder went out regardless.
“View all failed reminders” now goes somewhere
Section titled ““View all failed reminders” now goes somewhere”The link on the dashboard’s failed-reminders panel led to a page that didn’t exist. It now opens your email log, where you can see what happened to each message.
Workshops
Section titled “Workshops”Three fixes to workshops:
- Public workshop pages load reliably again, both for people viewing a workshop and for attendees registering for one.
- Opening a workshop template no longer shows an error page instead of the template’s details.
- Previewing a workshop description while editing it now shows the formatted text as intended.
Shared achievement pages
Section titled “Shared achievement pages”The public page behind a shared achievement link could fail to load. It now opens reliably.
Invoice and payment menus work with the keyboard
Section titled “Invoice and payment menus work with the keyboard”Opening an invoice or a payment from the menu on its row now works properly when you’re navigating with the keyboard rather than a mouse.
Billing preview figures are correct again
Section titled “Billing preview figures are correct again”The billing preview could show £0 for tax and for unit prices after a change to how payments are handled. It reads the correct figures again.
