Turning features on and off
Not every practice uses every part of Practicos. Settings → Features lets the practice owner switch whole modules off, so the navigation and screens only show what your practice actually uses.
Invoicing
Section titled “Invoicing”If your practice doesn’t invoice through Practicos — perhaps you’re funded through contracts, or you bill elsewhere — switch Invoicing off. That removes, for everyone in the practice:
- Invoices and Accounting from the navigation
- the invoices section on client records
- the financial cards on the dashboard
- payment reports, and invoice results in search
- invoicing steps from your Practice Launch checklist, so nothing nags you to “send your first invoice”
Who can change this
Section titled “Who can change this”Only the practice owner can switch features on or off. Everyone in the practice sees the result — the switch applies practice-wide, not per person.
When it helps
Section titled “When it helps”- A contract-funded or school-traded practice that never raises invoices keeps its navigation and client pages focused on clinical work.
- A practice trying Practicos for clinical records first can switch invoicing off now and on later, when they’re ready — nothing is lost in between.
